Dr. Anelie PETRISSANS : Associate Professor for Process Engineering and Energetics at the University of Lorraine, France since 2002. Her research fields are situated around biomass mild pyrolysis, thermo-chemical modification of ligno cellulosic biopolymers, experimental and numerical investigation of coupled heat and mass transfers.
After studying process engineering at the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, she joints the University of Lorraine where she obtained her PhD in 2001 in Mechanics and Energetics and received her habilitation in 2016 in Wood and fiber science.
Anelie Petrissans has co-authored almost 100 peer-reviewed research papers, most of which discuss different aspects of biomass thermal modification: stages, influencing factors and circular economy with partners from different countries (Taiwan, Brasilia).
